About Bjorg Kennel Las Vegas
The SVs (Swedish Vallhunds) of Bjorg Kennel Las Vegas are our everyday passion. For years, we rescued and rehomed various abandoned and troubled dogs, mostly Welsh Pembroke Corgis, but fell in love with SV breed when we learned of the challenges the SV breed face. As we learned more about the breed, we committed ourselves to doing what we can to further this adorable and lovable breed. We hope you get to love the breed as much as we do; we know our puppies' forever homes love thier SVs.
We're a tiny breeding kennel, very focused on health, structure and temperment.
There's a lot of news about backyard breeders and puppy mills, abusing their dogs to gain a buck. Bjorg Kennel Las Vegas is committed to improving the SV breed through responsible breeding of SVs and careful forever home selection. We are proud of the families our puppies now call home and hope to foster long-term relationships with those families and in the SV community.
We're careful to ensure good medical care, diet, exercise and social interaction to help our puppies transition smoothly into their forever homes. A puppy from our kennel is a welcome addition to any loving home.
The Swedish Vallhund is a very active and intelligent breed; we screen our potential puppy homes for the best fit.
If you are considering getting an SV puppy, please carefully consider your willingness to commit to the breed. SVs are energetic, strong, intelligent, loving and fun, but also strong-willed. They're tough - pushing cattle several times larger than themselves - and eager to please, but oftimes have a mind of their own and love to bark! If you don't have the time or the room for them to run, please consider a different breed.
